SHIPPING
When will my order ship?
Every piece of Cathy Ward jewelry is made by myself, from the forging process to the final details, in my small jewelry studio in Portland, Oregon. Due to the nature of this work, processing times may vary depending on if the piece ordered is "ready to ship" (already fabricated, and just requires packaging and shipping), or "made to order" (requiring studio time prior to packaging). Please see specific item description for specific details.
- Ready to ship items will typically ship within 2-3 business days.
- Made to order items will ship in 1-2 weeks.
Can I request a "RUSH" order?
Made to order items can be "rushed" for an additional $50 fee. Please email me directly at cathywardjewelry@gmail.com to request a rush order. Rushed items will be typically mailed out within 5 business days.
How much does shipping cost?
Free shipping is available for all orders over $75. Orders under $75 are charged a flat shipping rate of $7.00. Priority and Expedited shipping speeds are available for an additional fee.

CARE OF JEWELRY
How do I care for my jewelry?
All sterling silver is prone to scratches and tarnish over time if not properly cared for.
To prevent your silver jewelry from tarnishing:
- Avoid exposing your sterling jewelry pieces to household chemicals, chlorinated water, and lotions and cosmetics. These products can cause corrosion and tarnish.
- Avoid exposing your jewelry to rough surfaces that can scratch the surface (especially rings).
- Store your sterling jewelry pieces in airtight plastic bags as exposure to air can cause sterling silver to tarnish.
- Wear your jewelry! Our natural skin oils condition the silver and prolong its shine!
How to clean and polish your sterling jewelry:
- To keep your jewelry clean, brush gently with an unscented dish soap and a soft toothbrush.
- If visible tarnish develops on your sterling jewelry, soft polishing is often all that is needed to restore that brilliant shine. Use a dry nonabrasive cloth (or silver cloth) to polish your items to avoid scratching the silver.
RETURNS AND REPAIRS
What is your return policy?
Due to the handmade nature of this work, returns are not accepted except on a case by case basis. If there is an issue with your purchase, please contact me at cathywardjewelry@gmail.com. Once a return is approved, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and a small restocking fee may occur.
Do you repair jewelry?
I have a 90-day warranty on my jewelry pieces. If your piece requires repair within 30 days, it can be repaired for free. Outside of this window there may be a fee for all requested repairs. Please contact me at cathywardjewelry@gmail.com with any questions regarding repair or care of your jewelry.
